The Marion County Public Schools Finance Office handles all purchases, fixed assets, payroll and fiscal management for the district. There is a finance officer, payroll clerk, and accounts payable clerk. Most questions regarding district financial operations can be answered at the district office (270-692-3721). However, schools are allocated funding for staffing, building management and instructional operations, which is under the supervision of each individual school council. Schools may be better able to provide information on spending at the school level.
