Mrs. Schlosser gave each baseball player a Dream, Believe, Achieve t-shirt for their send off. Leadership in the Arts Camp A leadership team representing Marion County High School Student Ambassadors visited Western Kentucky University to complete a campus tour and class with the nationally renowned Spirit Masters on Wednesday, June 7. The MCHS baseball team will play in the state tournament Thursday at 11:00 vs. Hazard Congratulations MCHS Class of 2017! MCHS Senior band students were honored at the annual band banquet held on Thursday, May 4th at the Marion County Cooperative Extension Office. Marion County FFA members receive awards and honors at the annual awards banquet on May 4th Nicholas Sandusky was awarded the 2016-17 Teen Leadership Marion County Scholarship. R20 in Mr. Stiles room

 MCHS freshmen APHG students are participating in a mock AP exam and Quiz Bowl competition against three other schools in Bardstown. MCHS STLP compete at state. The MCHS Concert band performed for the 2017 Heartland Concert Festival last night, Tuesday March 21st On March 16th, FFA members compete in the Lincoln Trail Region Day competition.  Four students, Gerard Flanagan – Prepared Public Speaking, Carrie Ann Followell – Extemporaneous Public Speaking, Sierra Bickett – Small Animal Impromptu and Lee Ann Jones – FFA Creed advanced to state competition Mr. Followell working with clay on a wheel. Mrs. Allen’s Special Technology Topics students visited Glasscock Elementary school to do action shots of the students. Congrats to Kenneth Young on becoming certified in Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.  Congrats to Destiny Mattingly on earning her Microsoft Office Specialist certification in PowerPoint.

Students in Mrs. Dougherty's and Mrs. May's class at Calvary Elementary learned about coding with help from Marion County High School PLTW and STLP students. Dating Violence Awareness Art Contest. Sponsored by SpringHaven Domestic Violence Center and Marion County Heartland Safe Community Coalition Brooke Hill's art will be included  in The Next Generation Emily Gordon's art will be included in The Next Generation Lissy Walton's art will be included in The Next Generation Congrats to Caleb Miller for placing 1st in Intro to Business and Hope Rawlings & Riley Wayland for 1st in Bulletin Board competition at FBLA Regionals. Congrats to Emma Humphress for earning her Microsoft Office Specialist certification in Access. Emma has already earned certification in Word, PowerPoint and Excel. Congrats to Tyler Brady, Sarah Clark, Brooke Smith, and Amber Lucas for earning their Microsoft Office Specialist certification in PowerPoint. FFA drive your tractor to school day. Governor Jenean Hampton on her recent visit to Marion County ATC. Students in Mr. Conley's and Ms. Allen's classes met with Lt. Governor Jenean Hampton on Friday, November 4th. She was in Marion County discussing her Entrepreneurship Challenge! Students in Mr. Tatum’s Industrial Maintenance program wire receptacles and three-way switches.
