Non-Traditional Instruction Survey

Marion County Public Schools is exploring the feasibility of using a non-traditional approach to making up missed days due to inclement weather and other emergencies. The Class of 2015 graduation ceremony will be on Friday, May 29th at 7pm in the Roby Dome. Students will receive 10 tickets (about three weeks before graduation) for family/friends to attend graduation. Anyone that attends graduation (children that are over 5 yrs. of age are required to have a ticket) MUST have a ticket. This is due to the capacity of the gym.

Friday, April 17, 2015 Announcement

Camp Can Do is looking for volunteers age 14 and up. Camp Can Do is a summer day camp for children with special needs and is located in Perryville. If you are interested in volunteering please see Mrs. Miller in the Guidance Office for an application.

Dual Credit Parent Night will be held at Marion County High School on Tuesday, April 21, 2015, in the school cafeteria from 6pm – 7pm. Any senior or junior parents interested in dual credit courses for their child are welcome to attend. Dual credit Coordinators from Eastern Kentucky University, Campbellsville University and St. Catharine College will be in attendance to answer any questions or concerns parents may have.

Senior Art Showcase will be held in the MCHS Library on Thursday, May 7, 4:00-6:00 pm. All the best work created by seniors in art classes throughout their high school career will be on display. Refreshments will be served. Admission is free and all are welcome!

Prom community walk thru will be from 7:30pm – 8:30pm on Saturday, April 25th.

MCHS cheer try out will be held on April 29th from 4 pm-7pm at MCHS in the gym.

BETA War Games will be held April 27 - 30. The cost is $5 per person; up to 6 people per team. Please see Mr. Simpson for details and to sign up.
St. Catherine College will host the 4th Annual Military Appreciation 5K Run/Walk on April 18, 2015. Register online at under St. Catharine 5K. Any questions contact Dave Donathan at(859) 336-5082.
