A group of Marion County High School students were recently recognized for their entry in the annual Better Business Bureau student video contest. MCHS students Damon Bickett, Tyler Gribbins, Christine Cox, and Elton Vandermeir received third place for their entry, which was recognized at an awards luncheon at The Olmsted in Louisville. The students entered the contest as a part of Ginger Allen's Advanced Graphic Design class.

For Bickett, this is the second year receiving accolades  for the contest. Last year, he and a group of students finished in second place.

"I was actually pretty surprised. I didn’t expect to win for a second time,” Bickett said. “I was pretty excited to learn that I had won again.”

Students were tasked with creating a video that conveyed the theme of “Trust”.

“I am very proud of these students for winning third place in the BBB video contest,” Allen said. “They worked very hard and put a lot of thought into their video. Whenever the video was played at the awards luncheon everyone laughed and giggled because they enjoyed it so much.”
